Specialist Areas:

Jacqui specialises in all issues relating to the family,  including divorce, finance, children,  injunctions and matters involving grandparents seeking contact and unmarried family breakdown.  Jacqui also deals with foreign proceedings in relation to marriages, maintenance and the removal of children from the UK.

Career History:

Jacqui has an LLB (Hons).  She qualified as a solicitor in 1990 and worked in Bristol for two firms as head of family law.  Jacqui moved to Stoke on Trent in 2000 to head up a family department and establish a mediation practice.  She qualified as mediator in 1998, and is recognised by the Legal Services Commission to mediate in 2001 and accredited by 'Resolution' (formerly the Solicitors Family Law Association (SFLA)) as a mediator in 2001.  Jacqui moved to Bridge McFarland, Lincoln in 2002 and founded mediationeast.  A Professional Practice Consultant (PPC) for mediation since 2005 means Jacqui can supervise and mentor other mediators.   She was accredited by SFLA in family law in 2004. Jacqui is also a  Peer Reviewer and Senior Panel Member for the Legal Services Commission (LSC) in Family Law since 2005.
