Specialist Areas:
Kate is head of the firms Child Care Department and based at the Lincoln office. She acts principally in connection with children’s cases for either the parents or children involved. Mostly undertaking Public Law Care Proceedings she also represents clients in connection with some Private Law cases and Adoptions.
Career History:
Kate has an LLB from University of Newcastle upon Tyne, followed by Solicitors Final Examinations at the College of Law in Chester. Kate was admitted in 1983 and started working for Lincolnshire County Counci. She then started her own private practice as a sole practitioner before joining Bridge McFarland in 1999
Personal:
Kate is married with two sons and a dog.
