As Head of Finance Adele manages the Finance function of the practice working closely with the Managing Consultant, the Management Board and Heads of Departments. Her role involves managing and monitoring the budgeting process, control of the finance operations of the business and analysis of financial information. Adele is responsible for reviewing and implementing practices and procedures and ensuring compliance with the Solicitors Accounts Rules. Adele is responsible for the supervision of the Finance teams including cashiers, costings and credit control. As a member of the senior management team Adele has a key role in the operational and strategic practices of the firm

Career History:

Adele began her career as an assistant legal cashier at Leicestershire firm Crane & Walton. She progressed to Sole Cashier for the practice during her 16 years with them before relocating to Lincolnshire through her husband’s job. Adele first joined Bridge McFarland in 2005 in a part-time cashier’s role. She rejoined the practice in 2007 as Senior Cashier, was promoted to Head Cashier in 2008 and was appointed as Head of Finance in May 2010
